CSADVs rural outreach program brings supportive
services to domestic violence, sexual assault victims, and their children
in the counties served by CSADV. CSADV has satellite offices in Plymouth
and Monona counties, with the main office being in Sioux City. Staff
are available to respond to crisis and provide services 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week throughout CSADVs entire service area. With
the exception of shelter, which is located in Sioux City, all services
provided from the main office are also provided from the satellite
offices. These services include all types of advocacy, individual
counseling, and a 24-hour crisis line. Because of our community outreach
program, victims are able to receive free, confidential services within
their own community.
Our community outreach program also strives to create
awareness and educate the community concerning the issues of domestic
violence, sexual assault, and child victimization. To accomplish this,
we offer education to different groups within the community and we
have implemented a comprehensive informational campaign concerning
the issues of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child victimization.
