Medical Advocacy
CSADV advocates are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week to respond to a victim who presents themselves at
the hospital or other medical setting with injuries
related to domestic violence or sexual assault.
Advocates are available to provide accurate information
and support while the victim is treated for injuries and
talks with medical personnel.
At the hospital, an advocate can:

Address safety concerns
• Provide
information on and accompaniment through the criminal
justice system
• Provide
information on assistance with medical bills
• Advocates
respond quickly, 24 hours a day
